its been stirred really well, but when i apply it on anaglipta paper its similar to a kiddies water paint
its so watery and weak[its not the most expensive either, its something left over at work]is there a easy way to thicken it at home ,or a product i can buy to mix in with it.How do I Thicken up watery emulsion ';paint';either matt or vinyl?
been there done that, remove the lid from the container, place it out side and let the water evaporate, avoid lots of sun, it will form a thick layer and not let the water out, stir every so often till it thickens up, then you should be fineHow do I Thicken up watery emulsion ';paint';either matt or vinyl?
I regret to say that it is irreversible, once water has been added to excess, then it is not possible to reverse the effect.
High quality paint usually has the consistancy of clotted cream, and is applied neat.
I can only suggest that you buy the most expensive paint and add your watered-down paint in order to use it up.

lots of people on the internet saying the same thing. It isnt wrong but a better way is to add hydroxyethyl cellulose. it is relativly easy to buy on ebay as it is also know as gunge powder.
