How does one remove paint stains from soft vinyl chairs? ?

I have a pair of turquoise vinyl kitchen chairs circa 1950. They have paint splatters which are a few years old and need removing. I need to find a cleaning method which will not harm the vinyl or strip its surface.

you can try fingernail polish remover take a little and wet a cue tip with it apply to one of the spots see how it works
