How do you take paint off of Armstrong vinyl floors?

We moved into a new home and the painters left little drops of paint on some of the flooring. How do you take paint off of Armstrong vinyl floors?
Remove any spill immediately, then wash with a cloth dipped in warm sudsy water. If paint remains, cover it with a rubbing alcohol compress. Let the compress remain in place for a few minutes. Wipe the paint with a cloth dampened with ammonia. (Do not use ammonia on linoleum or vinyl floor tile.) To remove any latent traces of the paint, try rubbing the area with superfine steel wool dipped in liquid wax. Wash thoroughly with soapy water, wipe dry, then wax.How do you take paint off of Armstrong vinyl floors?
Depending on the type of paint, I'm assuming you tried soap and water. If the drops are not flat to the floor, using you can just pick them off. But if they are flat to the surface, use, lighter fluid, SOS pad, or paint thinner.

Good luck!
It all depends what kind of paint it is. If it's water base use simple warm water and soap, if it's enamel go to Wal-Mart or Home Depot and ask the clerks at the paint station, they'll show you a number of things. Take some soap and water and rub it, if it comes off or smears, it's water base.
It is easy to scrape latex off with a plastic scraper or use your nails (if they are strong) There is a great product for this called ';OOPS'; as well. Good Luck!
