Is it possible to paint the vinyl handles on an old refrigerator, using acrylic paints....?

Did you want to paint them a solid color, or paint a design? If you're looking to paint a solid, use the Krylon Fusion paint - it's made for plastic. Follow the preparation directions very carefully. If there is ANY grease or oil on the handles, the paint will peel. You may want to scuff them up with fine sandpaper before you paint. If you want to paint a design, you can use a vinyl primer like the one shown here:

If you do a design, I would recommend many coats of polyuretane sealant afterward. One thing for sure, after you paint them, never use a chemical cleaner on them. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth only.Is it possible to paint the vinyl handles on an old refrigerator, using acrylic paints....?
Acrylic paints are not made to stick to plastic. If they need repainted a solid color, Krylon makes a spray paint for plastic.
