the top job above --dont know ****--got wal mart on mineCan you paint vinyl siding successfully?
I thought the point of vinyl siding was so you didn't have to paint. Not sure how well it would work.
Someone said to use a paint designed for use on vinyl, honestly I don't know if there is such an animal. The problem is that vinyl (unlike wood, masonry, etc.) will not absorb whatever is applied to it. So a paint really has nothing to ';grab'; and is just on the surface. On this basis, I'd suggest against attempting to paint it.
The only paint that will adhere to it is the new Kylon Plastics Paint which chemically bonds to plastic. All other latex paint will not properly adhere.
