Can you tint or paint over existing vinyl floor? It would be torture for my back to replace it.?

I hastily chose a light / white vinyl sheet flooring for the kitchen to my regret. I'm thinking about tinting or painting every other square if it's possible. Can you tint or paint over existing vinyl floor? It would be torture for my back to replace it.?
Yup. Lightly sand the squares. Clean off the debris, and prime with a high adhesion primer. Then just paint with the paint of your choice. It won't be permanent, but can easily be done, and will last a long time with a little extra care. Can you tint or paint over existing vinyl floor? It would be torture for my back to replace it.?
NO, IT HAS A FILM ON IT, WILL NOT STICK., SAME THING WITH VINYL TILES

YOU CAN LAY OVER TOP OF IT...........BUT FIRST YOU HAVE TO INSTALL UNDERLAYMENT OR HENRY PATCH FROM HOME DEPOT, MIX AND SKIM OVER MATERIAL FIRST OR NEXT LAYER WILL NOT ADHERE.
nope...the vinyl will keep the paint from sticking...vinyl over it..(people do that for a living you know, you don't have to do it yourself..)
No. Any product you use will quickly be scratched off and look worse than it currently does.
