What is the difference between Latex and Vinyl paints?

Latex is derived from plant sap (rubber plant). Vinyl is derived from ethylene which is derived from petroleum. Bla bla bla. You can have latex vinyl paints. The vinyl, or even an acrylic will help in making the paint more durable (washable). Hope this helps.
