While painting the ceiling tiny splatters of paint fell on my kitchen floor.How do I remove paint from vinyl floor?
You said vinyl floor right, well don't use thinner, it will breakdown the vinyl and make it rubbery. Hopefully you still have a glossy shine to your floor, that makes it so the paint cannot bond with the floor very well. Wet the area with water, then using a spray bottle, mist the paint with rubbing alcohol (80% or greater). It will react with the paint but not the floor causing a chemical reaction with the latex in the paint, making the latex rubberize. You can the use an ice scraper to remove the paint. it should peel right off the floor with a little elbow grease.How do I remove paint from vinyl floor?
Goo Gone will work or any cirtus based adhesive cleaner.

mieneral spirits or thinner--make sure theres not a seam there or you could disolve the adhesive in the seam
Paint thinner works great, or nail polish remover is similar to paint thinner.
*Very carefully* use a razor blade, and next time use a drop cloth on the floor.
turps..white spirit..use a light fibre scouring pad as well always works for me

Same thing happened to me.


I wet the area with water ( was afraid the thinner might take colour or shine off) and then gently rubbed off with piece of old towel.
u take oxi clean . put it in a sham pooher and that will work . TRY IT PLZ it works good
FYI Try or read uses for wd-40 oil Spray.
