How do I remove Behr Paint from vinyl siding?

My lovely adorable children (cough cough) decided to get a paint roller I used last week and wrapped in plastic, take the plastic off and use the roller to paint our white vinyl siding. Did I mention the paint on the roller is orange?!! I have no idea how to remove it - any ideas? It's just regular interior Behr paint. I think the old owners painted the siding as when you rub against it, white stuff gets on your clothes. Am I totally screwed?!!

If the paint is latex based, you should be able to wash it off or power wash it off if it has already dried. You may even be able to peel it off the plastic when it dries completely. If it is really stuck, try a mild abrasive such as a dish sponge or magic eraser. You could also try Goo-Gone which works well on paints, especially when they are on plastic surfaces.


If it is an oil based paint, you will need to use a paint thinner. Apply it to a rag and scrub until it is removed.How do I remove Behr Paint from vinyl siding?

acetone or paint it white again.
It's water based paint. a scrub brush and soap ought to take it right off. Hand those to Ur ';adorable little children'; and teach them a lesson!
